It was in 1978 that I attended a week-long seminar on the book of Revelation. That ignited a desire in me to know more. In 1980 or 81 the pastor at a church I was going to did a study through the book of Revelation. That stoked the flame more. I studied some through the years, but around the year 2000 is when I really got into in-depth study. I started doing more detailed research. I guess now I would have tens of thousands of hours of study and research. And yet after all these years of studying, I’m still learning more. Of course, that ignited a hunger to know more and study the Bible as a whole. Thus a study into the scriptures that reveal just who Jesus actually is.

 

I believe in the fundamentals of the Christian faith.

 

There is only one God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

 

Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father, he is the image of the invisible God, the first born over all creation. In Jesus all things were created:  Jesus is before all things.

 

Here on earth, Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit, being made in human likeness, being found in appearance as a man, was born of the Virgin Mary.

 

Salvation is found by faith in the blood of Jesus. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

 

Jesus was crucified for the redemption of our sins, buried, and literally, physically raised from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is now at the right hand of the Father as our Intercessor.

 

Jesus will literally, physically, visibly return to the earth, which has come to be referred to as his 2nd coming.

 

The Bible, both the Old and New Testaments are completely and equally inspired, that it is the inerrant written Word of God. It was written by men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
